While out on the streets of Tokyo one afternoon, our attention was easily caught by these teenage guys with their eye-catching streetwear styles. From left to right, they are Hikaru, Kiku, Kaiya and Syo. Let’s take a closer look at their individual styles:
At the left is 17-year-old Hikaru, sporting orange-and-black hair. Hikaru is clad in a colorblock graphic print Worlds Of shirt from Walter Van Beirendonck, and dark grey pants with a black slit skirt panel from Tokyo Kagaku. He finished off his look with black lace-up shoes from Rombaut. For more on Hikaru, follow him on Instagram.
Next is purple-haired Kiku. The 17-year-old is dressed in a grey oversized hoodie jacket, which he layered on top of a graphic print tie-dyed shirt and floral print wide pants, all of which are from Balmung. Black resale sneakers and black headphones hanging from his neck completed Kiku’s look. Balmung is his fashion favorite, and he listens to the music of Japanese alternative/indie band, Sleet Mage. You can follow him on Instagram.
Kaiya is an 18-year-old who works in KFC. He stepped out in a blue resale butterfly print long kimono coat, worn over a white cropped hoodie sweater and red shirt from Faith Tokyo. He tucked his layered tops into black resale pants cinched with a black leather belt, and slipped into black leather cutout boots from Zara. Kaiya listens to Nogizaka46, and he is active on Twitter and Instagram.
Meanwhile, Syo is wearing a pink knit sweater with a detached hood in a lighter shade from Acne Studios, which he paired with dark denim cuffed pants and sneakers from Nike. The 19-year-old finished off his look with accessories such as red-tinted sunglasses and silver ball chains strapped to his pants. His favorite music artists are Nogizaka46 and Keyakizaka46, and he is also active on Instagram.
